While adaptation is the major challenge for SIDS, providing clean and affordable energy is also a concern that needs to be addressed in the context of sustainable development. This side event examines the current status of climate finance in SIDS and offers case studies of innovative programs that seek to promote sustainable energy supplies for SIDS.
